Timer Controlled

Timer controlled

Extractor fans with a built-in timer control means that the fan will operate with the bathroom light switch and then overrun for a set amount of time to continue removing moisture from the air. This is great for steamy bathrooms, allowing you to turn the light off but continue with extraction for a short time.

Extractor Fan Recessed

Recessed Design

Recessed fans can be installed through a wall, window or alternatively the ceiling giving you that extra bit of flexibility.

Axial type fans cause gas to flow through in an axial direction which is parallel to the shaft where the blades rotate, making the flow axial at exit and entry. Axial fans are designed to create a pressure difference and force which produces a flow through the fan.

This fan replaced a pre-existing fan of dubious quality in my ensuite, which was noisy, temperamental and a complete pain to live with! Read the online reviews about the Greenwood Airvac Silent, and how quiet it was and was impressed by them as well as the reputation of the company. Everything about my purchase experience was first class, from the easy online ordering to the brilliant delivery which was trackable right down to when the fan was getting loaded onto the van at Glasgow for delivery to my home. My whole experience of ordering the fan has completely exceeded my expectations and I am a very demanding customer. I don't suffer any excuses or delays gladly not that I had to on this occasion. The fan was installed by an all-trades workman very quickly indeed, and he remarked how easy and straight forward it was to install. Now that it's up, it runs nice and quiet, is very discrete and you can't hear it in the bedroom so it's completely unobtrusive - exactly what I wanted! The fan is also good and efficient at extracting and with Greenwood's enviable reputation for reliability and endurance (my mum having had a Greenwood airvac fitted in her 2nd toilet for about 15 years or more); I know that I will have no worries with this one. I wouldn’t hesitate from purchasing anything from this company again - they are truly first class and a pleasure to do business with. I am now thinking of buying this fan again for my main toilet, to replace the pre-existing (cheaper quality) fan already fitted.

    5/ 5

I bought the Greenwood Silent SR100TR as a replacement for an existing fan when upgrading my bathroom. It is much quieter than its predecessor and has a slimmer profile on the ceiling. The only downside is that it is a lot longer than traditional bathroom fans, which limited the options for the mounting position. May not be suitable for use in limited height installations between ceiling and upper floor

Not silent, but oh so quiet. Well packed, very good build quality (so not suprised at the 2 year guarantee), and easy to fit. Precise measurements for preparing wires is a bonus. This replaces a noisy ceiling fan and the difference is well worth the extra money - we cannot hear it from our other rooms, even when the bathroom door is open. Very good communication and fast delivery by plumbworld

    5/ 5

This fan is extremely quiet, as you would expect and well worth the money. It's slimeline and unobtrusive to look at. It is quite deep though so check the dimensions before ordering. The service from Plumbworld is quick and efficient. Having dragged round numerous shops trying to find such a fan it was much easier to order it from their website and it arrived in less than two days.

Been nagging my husband to get a quieter fan in our inside toilet since we moved into our new house. I finally looked myself and found this Fan reported to be 70% quieter than standard. What a fantastic product. it is so silent I have to open the door now to check and see if my husband has left the light / unit switched on! Great buy and great rates at Plumbworld!

    5/ 5

It is verually silent, well worth the extra cost and very easy to install, including the after-timer adjustment. Only one note of caution with regards the delivery, DO consult the website notifying product's progress and take no notice of e-mail sent by company otherwise you are waiting in unecessarily. Overall, so far, very satisifed with purchase and product.

There's not a great deal to say about an extraction fan, but this one was absolutely fine. Very quiet in operation and simple to install. Timer defaults to 20 mins after the light is switched off. If you want to change this, you should remember to do it before installation - otherwise you have to uninstall it to change the setting.

    5/ 5

This is a good quality product that does what it says on the tin. I was unable to find a more silent brand and compared to the existing one that was in the bathroom it is brilliant. I would gladly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quieter than standard fan.

    5/ 5

I am very happy with this slimline bathroom fan and it is exceptionally quiet just as it says in the detail. Would definitely recommend this product for the extra money spent. I am glad I researched fans so much that I got the right one.

I must admit that I was sceptical about what I was going to recieve but based on the strength of the other reviews I was prepared to give it a go. So glad I did. The Item arrived very fast, was well packed and left me with a warm feeling of professionalism from this site. As for the item itself, it has exceeded my expectations. It was easy to install (with a little help from my friendly electrician) and I can honestly say that it is doing what i wanted it to do and doing it very quietly. Overal I would reccomend this site to anyone. Should the need arise again It will be the 1st port of call for any other equipment.

Very quiet as claimed by the makers. Lengthy "tail" may cause a problem in some places as others have said. Instructions are a bit cryptic but good enough. Only downside is that the adjusting the timer requires part dismantling of the fan from the REAR. If you don't want the 20 mins set by the makers, I strongly advise you adjust the timer before you finally fix or you will need to remove the fan from the wall or ceiling to do it. Excellent product; would have been 5 stars if the timer adjustment had been more accessible.

We bought this to replace the old fan in our downstairs cloakroom, and it makes such a difference. It really is very quiet! Lookswise, it is fairly unobtrusive. The cover is matt and slightly off-white - not a problem for our downstairs loo, although it wouldn't have looked quite as good in our sparkling white, fully tiled bathroom upstairs. The 'flaps' don't close when it's not in use, but we don't find it too draughty. It would be great for an ensuite or downstairs loo, as it really is the quietest fan I've ever heard.
