Greenwood Airvac Affresco Decorative Timer controlled Square Extractor Fan 100mm - D100TW
£53.55 (Inc. VAT)
Extractor fans with a built-in timer control means that the fan will operate with the bathroom light switch and then overrun for a set amount of time to continue removing moisture from the air. This is great for steamy bathrooms, allowing you to turn the light off but continue with extraction for a short time.
Recessed fans can be installed through a wall, window or alternatively the ceiling giving you that extra bit of flexibility.
Axial type fans cause gas to flow through in an axial direction which is parallel to the shaft where the blades rotate, making the flow axial at exit and entry. Axial fans are designed to create a pressure difference and force which produces a flow through the fan.
This product has a rating of IPX44, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm (wires, nails, screws) and is protected against water splashes from all directions.
Zone 2 Rated
IP rating stands for 'Ingress Protection rating' and this helps us determine what bathroom electricals can go in particular bathroom zones. An IP (Ingress Protection) number or code is used here in the UK to specify the environmental protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific tests.
These extractor fans can be fitted within Zone 2 as shown below.

Bought this contemporary extractor fan a couple of months ago, and now it has at last been fitted in our refurbished ensuite. It looks really stylish and a few people have commented on it. It also works well. It is nice to have the centre pieces iterchangeable, although I keep in the motif I prefer. It was delivered very quickly, and I was very pleased with plumbworlds service. Would definitely buy from them again.
A stylish fan with changable inserts. Looked very prretty. Bought this product to replace Industrial looking bathroom extractor.
Really modern at a fantastic price!! Must more quiet and stylish than my old fan!!
Good quality product and a very reasonable price. And excellent delivery time.
looks beautiful and works well, and relatively quiet
This extractor was purchased to replace a large, ugly industrial-looking fan in my bathroom. It comes with an attractive cover that has a choice of three small decorative panels, so you can change the look of it when the mood takes you. It's fairly quiet, works well and was relatively easy to fit, even though the wiring was somewhat different to the unit I was replacing; this extractor requires both a permanent live and a switch live connection, which is something to bear in mind if you're planning on fitting one. Overall, it looks great and I'm glad I bought it.
The fan look great in my bathroom and I am overall very please. Wotks really well and nice a cheap. Only downfall is that tye electrical conection is very tight, but once its up, theres no need to worry about that anymore
Replaced an old Greenwood extractor and this is unobtrusive and stylish.
