A brand new sink deserves a brand new tap which is elegant and sophisticated in its design, and this Franke kitchen tap is one of the best on the market. Designed to coordinate perfectly with the most contemporary kitchens, the tap mixes the water through a long spout which makes filling pots and washing vegetables easier than ever. Unlike traditional taps, the flow of the water is controlled by two easy to operate levers, perfect for older people.

Design and Function

The matt finish on this tap is designed to blend in well with other kitchen appliances and the tap itself can be swivelled for more flexibility of use. It needs a minimum of 0.2 bars of pressure to work, and is equally suitable for utility rooms as it is for kitchens. If you are upgrading your kitchen or just the sink, investing in a great quality designer tap will turn a good kitchen into an outstanding kitchen.

We found plumbworld to be an excellent company to deal with The tap was delivered the next morning, less than 24 hours after ordering! This is an excellent tap for a villeroy and bosch Butler sink as it has a larger base than many others so no ingress of water round the edge of the appliance hole between the 2 sinks. Superb quality and well worth paying that bit more!

I paid over a hundred pounds less for this item than I could have bought it locally. I knew it was a quality product as I was replacing like for like. My only minor gripe was that I made arrangements to be home to receive the packet, as requested. But it was delivered on the Friday, before however not to much of a problem

I ordered the same taps as previous ones which lasted 10 years in a double sink in use everyday. The levers are solid and easy to operate. I have a gravity system and these ones give reasonable flow even on the hot tap. I didn't need the stabiliser washer as mine is fitted to a marble top rather than a sink unit.

Whilst we haven't yet had this plumbed in we have had this tap before. It looks so good, the taps are easy to use and balance the flow and temperature and the spout swivels effortlessly. Yes it is a bit expensive, but you really get what you pay for.

This feels and looks a good solid tap and was easy to fit (by a plumber). The only slight grumble is that one of the grub screws doesn't tighten quite sufficiently to stop a minor movement in the cold tap, but it's not really a problem
