Steel build

Steel is a great material to manufacture fires from. A steel fire won’t retain heat for quite as long as a cast iron fire but if you’re looking for something that’ll heat up fast and get the temperature of the room rising quickly then there is no better option.

Coal effect

These fires have all the benefits of a coal-burning fire, the heat, the aesthetics and the warm, cosy feeling. All without the issue of having to repeatedly top it up! Simply switch the fire on and enjoy hours of satisfaction.

Slide Control

The Slide Control is a step up from a basic manual control system which is much more convenient and easy to use. The fire is operated by a three-stage sliding device usually situated on the side of the fire, enabling quick and easy ignition with two or three heat levels. Slide controls are much more accessible over a traditional manual control and it eliminates the necessity of bending down.

Flavel Gas Fires carry the peace of mind of a 7 year guarantee and the Flavel Airwatch System (on all living flame effect fires). The Airwatch cuts off the gas supply in the unlikely event of the flame being extinguished through blockage.

The 7 year guarantee is subject to terms & conditions including annual services carried out by a Gas Safe Register engineer and annual replacement of the oxy-pilot assembly (or thermocouple on balanced flue models)
