The Danfoss valve works with a rotating slotted cylinder like a ball valve, instead of the Honeywell type which moves a rubber ball, so eliminated the water hammer I was getting when the valve was shutting off. The mounting screws for the motor are external and easier to get at compared to the Honeywell types too. Best of all, best price from Plumbworld.
Excellent service got the item delivered very quick. Postage costs was very reasonable just like the price of the item. Item itself was just as described with no defects .
Lets hope this one lasts a bit longer than the first. Micro switch plays up and calls for heat when the valve is closed after it gets hot! This replacement works fine but for how long?
It is what it is, and so far [1.5 months] no problems. The previous one lasted 12 years, so lets hope this one lasts as long if not longer. Delivery was exactly as stated. Cost fair.
