Product Description

Replace the lever on your toilet with a water saving push button

With hose pipe bans now in force across much of the South of England and more water restrictions threatened, the issue of water conservation is more important than ever.

An old fashioned toilet with a handle mechanism can use up to 12 litres of water every flush. A more modern dual flush toilet uses just 3 litres for liquid waste and 6 litres for solid waste. Over a year every person using an old style toilet can waste 10,950 litres of water.

Replacing an older toilet can be expensive, with even the most basic units costing over £100.

However, the new "Water Saving Toilet Converter" allows an existing toilet to be upgraded into a water efficient, dual flush system for under £15. The simple to fit device, replaces the handle on the front of the toilet with a twin button arrangement. This allows the user to select either a light or a more powerful flush.

Inside the cistern the buttons connect to a flush regulator that restricts the water used to 3 or 6 litres as would be the case with a modern toilet.

Install a Water Saving Toilet Converter and respect the environment.

Product Details:

easy to fit

I shopped around the local plumbing stores which included the big brand names but was told either that the firm had gone out of busness or it would take weeks to order. I then looked on the internet and found plumbworld. This product was straightforward to fix, with or without instructions.

Very good device. It works very well - easy to press the button. Installation was not that simple, depends on the size of the balloon float, some adjustments might be necessary.

A Plumber's Dream

I am extremely satisfied with the Wirquin Jolly Flush Cistern Fittings they are manufactured to a very high standard and are fairly simple to install. The literature provided with them is very comprehensive and covers most types of installation. The equipment is environmentally friendly in that it saves water via the use of the twin flush buttons.
The most pleasing aspect of the Wirquin Jolly Flush equipment lies in the fact that it reduces the cost of future maintenance; once the equipment is installed the cistern does not have to be removed to facilitate replacement of the valve washer. One has only to turn the water off, flush the cistern, give the Jolly Flush a ¼ turn and lift it out – in short a plumber’s dream.
