Pros: Safety. Easy for kids to operate. Simple to install.
Cons: None really.
I already had the same model of this shower fitted . I replaced it with the same model after six years because it was so reliable. It was easy to fit due to the excellent manual. The only fiddly part was making sure the washer at the joint between the mixer unit and the riser is located properly. Water will spray out if it isn't. I chose this shower again because its elegance fits my Victorian house and because it is safe and easy for children to operate. It's also great value for money.
Pros: Easy replacement unit. Good Product.
Cons: The thermostat is almost impossible to replace alone and costs almost as much as the shower itself.
I wanted a direct replacement for the shower unit I had already installed. My original had developed a faulty Thermostat. Rather than swap out the thermostat for a replacement it was esier and not too much more expensive to replace the whole unit from Plumbworld.
I first bought this shower 7 years ago and it has been great. Only recently has the mixer bar developed a slight leak, so I decided to buy another one! It avoids any hassle with changing the plumbing connections, etc. Hope this one lasts at least as long. My only negative comments are that the markings that denote the temperature gradually wear off over time (they are not 'imprinted' in the control dial) and, living in a hard water area, I am not a big fan of the 'rub-clean' shower heads, as they tend to get scaled up quickly.
But these are only minor quibbles. The shower looks good and works well.
have not used the shower yet, as this is to go in my house & bathroom is not ready yet. I choose this shower as Triton is a good make & I have priced this shower in local DIY shops & the price is really high. It is value for money & not many shower bars about that I wanted. I would recommend this shower to my friends & family & this website.
Pros: smart looking easy to use and clean
when we moved into this house we inherited a Triton dove shower and we thought it was good so when we built our ensuite on a tight budget we decided to stick with the Triton as we Knew it was the right one for us!
Pros: Delivery on time as stated. , Easy to install.
First class shower from a first class company.
Can`t fault this site in any way. 5 star
Pros: Style, look, ease of use, ease of installation
Cons: Not sure yet! Only installed last week!
Great shower. Looks good, works well, easy to install. make sure to buy the easyinstall Triton UniChrome Shower bracket.
Pros: Its a shower
Cons: Water feed holes didn't quite match up
First off it's not really fair to judge Plumbworld on anything other than supply (and customer service if something goes wrong) on a product that they are just supplying from a manufacturer, so on that basis they did very well, the shower came within a couple of days and the emails checking that I was happy with it shortly after.
The shower itself was chosen because it was a replacement for another Triton that is no longer manufactured and theoretically would be a straight swap, in the event it wasn't and the holes in the wall where the pipes came through had to be adjusted, also the headroom in the shower wasn't huge so I have retained the straight pipe from the old shower rather than use the curved as it made a couple of inches higher above my head.
No problems with the longevity of the previous shower apart from scaling up, down to the hrd water though so would expect the same from any shower.
