Stuart Turner Showermate Eco Twin Impeller Positive Head Shower Pump 2.0 Bar 46500
Are you always looking for more from your shower? Is it more of a disappointing drizzle than a deluge of a waterfall? If this sounds similar then maybe you could seriously benefit from the installation of a Showermate shower pump.
This Showermate model features the more generally used twin impellers. Each impeller takes water from both the hot or the cold supplies and returns both at an equal flow.
It’s designed for domestic use with a single function shower, bath or basin mixer tap on a positive head system. A flow of just 0.8 l/min is required through the outlet to start the pump and to give you that invigorating shower you’ve always dreamed of.
Older shower pumps have often been very noisy but if you fit it with the supplied anti-vibration feet and install it in the airing cupboard then it’s possible to greatly reduce the noise levels for extremely quiet showering.
They are IPX4 rated and of course WRAS Approved for that extra protection in moisture filled environments. Any electrical work must be carried out by a fully qualified electrician.

This is connected to a gravity system and the pressure is so much better since adding this. I found the flexi pipes it came with to be a bit short, but other than that it's great. Plumbworld had the best price online and delivered on time, I'll be using them again.
Plumbed this next to the boiler upstairs. Works the shower and taps excellently. My only negative would be it's quite loud vibration through the floorboards despite my best efforts to dampen the noise.
So easy to fit and worked 1st time, superb unit of British quality.
Well made and easy to install. Very fast delivery.
I needed t replace my old Stuart Turner shower pump, which for reasons best known to itself had started leaking. The old pump, now discontinued, was 1.4 Bar and cost me £260 when new. It worked well enough, but was so noisy it could be heard throughout the house. Not only is the new pump a lot more powerful it cost less than half the price of the original one and is so quiet in operation the only person who knows the shower is running is the body standing under the shower-head! I would definitely recommend this shower pump.
A brief word about Plumbworld while I'm at it:
