Pros: Easy to fit; does what it says on the tin!

Cons: The silicone needs to be allowed to "cure" for up to 24 hours

It seems to have solved the problem of a leaking shower tray, which has never been a perfect fit due to the uneven nature of the walls, and I have struggled for several years in trying to stop the leaks. It also looks very neat without any bulging and ugly silicone

It definately did the job and looks good once finished. I thought it was a little overpriced for what it is....., but after three different lots of sealer, it is the only thing that has finally stopped my shower leaking...and it looks better than a bead of sealer AND I would certainly use it again regardless of the price.

Wish I'd found this sooner

Pros: professional finish

I was fed up with ugly silicone seals around my shower which seemed to attract mould very quickly. I found the supplied kit extremely easy to fit and everything required for fitting was supplied. The best part of the fit for me was that there were no mitres to be cut, corners fitted perfectly. A very good product, highly recommended.

good result...but a few tips...

Pros: looks great, should prevent any mould

Cons: not quite as easy as it looks!

if removing old sealant, the best advice i found was to use a sharp chisel. worked better than anything. don't bother with the gizmos.

also, when installing, i would advise cutting off a short length (assuming you don't need the full length of seal provided) and sticking it to something you can throw away; this will allow you to see how much sealant you need. i made the mistake of using way too big a bead and then ended up with sealant everywhere once i pushed the seal into place. less is definitely more!

oh yes--unless you install these every day, it won't take the 20 minutes or whatever they say to install. allow yourself a good couple of hours, especially if removing old sealant. and doing it as per the video will probably remain a dream!

Really good

This shower sealing product was easy to install and looks good. The water run soff it and it has sealed a troublesome shower tray which we continually had to repair with ordinary sealant. Because the strips only needed to be used on two sides where the tray connects to the wall there is even enough to fix our on-suite - 2 for the price of one!

Great Product

This product perfectly suited my needs - there has always been too large a gap between my tiles and my shower base and constantly having to re-new the sealant has been a nightmare. SHower Seal Ultra 10 is such a great idea - although it took me considerably longer than the 40 minutes quoted for installation.

All in all though it has done the trick and looks very neat. I think I may be buying one for the bath next!
