Sanisplit is a twin sectioned box with a built in macerator pump that automatically grinds and discharges water (up to 100°C), acid, grease water, body waste and toilet paper, originating from either the bathroom or the kitchen, through a small 32 or 40mm diameter pipe into the nearest sewer or soil stack.

Can I use any piping?
No, 32mm or 40mm solvent welded tubing on the discharge side, although push fit etc. can be used from the bath, shower or hand basin outlets.

Can I extend the soil pipe from the WC and mount the Sanisplit behind a wall?
Yes, but ensure there is a slight fall from the WC to the unit as the Sanisplit is filled by gravity.

Can you have two WC together?
Yes.

Is there a minimum height from 'shower/bath waste' top to floor?
Yes, 20cm (8")

Does Sanisplit have a good performance?
Yes, all Sanisplit have a maximum lift of 11 metres, or can pump 80 metres horizontally.

Do I have to dismantle the WC to remove the unit?
No, unlike some other makes of macerator, this is not necessary.

Will I have to do a lot of groundwork?
No, there is no need for costly groundwork or disturbing floors.  There are no external pipes, joints, valves or clips and the piping can be totally hidden.
