Before buying any of our shower pumps, it's important to know if you're buying the correct one. If you are unsure of what shower pump you need for your water system then please don't hesitate to give us a call on 01386800723.

The Salamander RCM1 (Remote Control Module) is designed to create a fully automatic negative head system when used with a positive head pump. Positive head pumps pushes the feed of water to the shower and requires a natural flow of at least 1 litre per minute in order to start the pump. A positive head can't be used with very low head pressure and negative head systems so therefore require the use of a negative head kit. Negative heads 'suck' water from the tanks and are for situations when the shower pump is sited above or at the same level as the cold water tank.
