100% (4/4) of people would recommend this
The valve is designed to supply both hot and cold water at equal pressures regardless of any pressure variation in the incoming supply, by automatically adjusting the higher hot or cold pressure to the level of the lower pressure.
Can be used on multi-point/combi, fully modulating boilers, gravity systems, mains pressure hot water cylinders or any hot water system that provides constant temperature output. The valve can be installed vertically or horizontally and at any distance before the mixer, provided it supplies only one mixer and there is no additional draw-off between the PEV and the mixer. The valve must be positioned where it is accessible should cleaning or maintenance be necessary.
The water heating system must be able to deliver hot water at a constant temperature, regardless of demand from the system.
The valve must be used in conjunction with shower valves that are designed to operate on equal pressure.
This Pressure Equalising Valve is suitable for all installations however be aware that it will reduce the pressure of the water to the lowest pressure that is feeding it.

Works a treat
Pros: Solid construction, well made
Cons: olives and nuts do not come with this... but to be fair I don't think they are supplied with with any other PEV's either
I purchased this item for the installation of a steam shower. It works very well, great value and next day delivery!

Value for money
The product turned up when promised, the price was excellent (I had seen it on other sites for nearly twice as much). I havn't used it yet due to other home mods taking priority but I am sure it will do the job perfectly.
