MIRA Event Shower

Pros: cheapest price i could find

This was a replacement for a shower of the same make and model that had been used extensively (at least 3 times a day ) for the last 10 years.
We were very pleased with the performance of the previous one and as we have only had this replacement in use for a few days can only assume that this one will be just as good.
Plumbworld delivery was very quick, price was cheapest I could find on the internet for a new one and packaging very protective to ensure all parts arrived in tact.
The shower itself is very quiet, there is more than one option for the type of flow and it looks modern and unfussy. The man that put it in for us was delighted we had chosen the same as before as all the holes in the wall matched up to the fittings and as he likes to do a good job was pleased that we'd chosen 'a decent one'.
When this one wears out (probably after 15 years as one previous user has now left home) if still at this address, we would buy the same again and would not hesitate to reccomend this model, and to use Plumbworld to purchase it. When you work full time, all you want to be able to do is quick search on the pc, order, pay and fit within the week. Brilliant. Thanks Plumbworld for making my plumbing problems seem like a small hiccup!!

My first choice every time!

Without hesitation I bought the Mira Event XS as a direct replacement for the 7 year old Mira Event that had served us extremely well being used 3 to 4 times every day! Comparing our Mira Event with other makes we have experienced over the years in friends houses, guest houses etc. I knew we had made the right choice when we researched the market some 7 years ago and even now haven't found anything to sereiously challenge my choice. With it's trouble free history, constant operation, good looks and fair price I am sad to see it come to the end of it's life but have no doubt that our new, stylish, Mira Event XS will continue in the same way. N.b - we will soon be having our loft converted to a bedroom and en-suite shower room and, after researching the marketplace again, I have found no reason to choose anything other than from the Mira shower range.

Bought this to replace a previous Mira Event shower. Delivered on time and fitter had no problem using previous pipework. The shower is great, with responsive controls and glad to have stayed loyal to Mira.

Great Purchase

Really powerfull shower though it is not as quiet as our old Mira shower that is the only downside to it. It is only a manual power shower but the temperature never alters if somebody turns the water on elsewhere in the house. Great Purchase from a brilliant site.

mira event shower

Amazing we bought a mira event shower 10yrs ago an it sadly lost it's power about 3wks ago. The thought of having to take an old shower out an maybe retile was scary.But no the new mira event shower dimmensions were on your web site and to our amazement the new one fitted rightin the gap. So wow thankyou.The whole family are now enjoying the our new mira.

Mira Event XS

Pros: great value for money, powerful, quiet

Cons: different drill holes to the previous model

This was purchased to replace an older version of the Event model. It was straightforward to fit however it did require new holes to be drilled as it was different to the older one. Once connected the shower is a lot quieter and also provides a better flow allowing a good drenching effect in the cubicle. All in all this is an excellent shower and great value for money.

new shower

I ordered a Mira event to replace ours when the motor failed after many years. Ordered on a Wednesday , delivered on Thursday, installed on Friday morning. New one just as good as old one.Product first class, service first class,(tracking system great),customer highly satisfied.
