first power shower

Pros: cost compared to others

We have not had this shower fitted yet as our plumber is not available until next week but we are very hopeful that this will have been a good buy.
Certainly your price was the most favourable so hopefully the produce will work as well as is advertised. This is the first time we have had a power shower and are expecting it to be a lot better than our electric one.
Time will tell.

Delivered on time and was the best price I could find online. Everything was spot on in terms of packaging and fitting instructions, well within the scope of the average DIY person. Fitted last night and all worked fine - much quieter than my previos shower and more powerful.

Exactly what I wanted

Pros: Fantastic power shower, replaced the previous one easily .fitted in minutes.quieter too.

Cons: Non so far.

Pros: Fairly quiet , Simple to use

Cons: Possibly higher water usage

It's a basic shower. The power knob goes from zero to full power in a quarter turn, so it's easy to put it on full power.
It seems to use a lot of water, compared to our previous (also basic) shower. A couple of times, I've run out of hot water, which never happened on the old one. Maybe that's because we're using it at more power than the old one.
The shower head on it's widest setting has quite a large empty space within the ring of water. Not a deal breaker, but it feels odd to me.
Otherwise, it's fine. There's nothing really wrong with it, although if I can be bothered, I might check our water usage after a few months to see if there's a significant increase.
Bear in mind, I'm not an expert and all I've got to compare this to is my old shower, which was similar spec.

The best shower ever!

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing. , Easy to operate. , Excellent force of water. , High quality product (My last one lasted 12 years of hard use).

Cons: Eventually the plastic unit does turn a bit yellow although this didn't bother me in the slightest.

I think the fact that I've just replaced my very well used (and abused) Mira event XS power shower with an identical model sums up my feelings very well. I had the last shower for over twelve years and it was brilliant so last night we replaced it with the same model. We probably could have had the old one repaired but I felt that due to it's age and the fact that it had never previously caused us any problems, it would be worth replacing. The shower unit is slimline and very easy to operate and regulate the water temperature. It's build is of a high quality. The nozzle on the shower can be turned to adjust the water flow which I find especially usefull for hair washing etc. as the jet wash is really powerful!Whenever I've had visitors, they've always commented on the shower and, incidentally, never on my cooking!!! I think that just about sums up everything I have to say. My advise is that if this model of shower is suitable for your plumbing system you really can't go wrong.
