Good Value
Pros: Easy to intall and use. Large display. ECO button
Cons: Would be better if it had a backlight on the display.
Purchased as a replacement for old mechanical 4 wire thermostat. Has now been working for approx 4 months with no problems. I was concerned about other reviews regarding noisy relay but you can hardly hear it. The eco button is very usfull if going out for the day.

Really worthwhile change to digital thermostat . Super value product.
Pros: It arrived quickly, was easy to fit, easy to set and to understand and is very quiet in operation. It also provides a constant read-out of the ambient temperature.
Cons: The two plastic lugs which need to be unclipped to remove the face of the unit are a bit of nuisance to manipulate without three hands.
This digital thermostat replaces a mechanical version. It is so much more precise in maintaining temperature than the previous stat, which was not that old.
A first class product at a good price.

Well chuffed
Pros: It does exactly what it was purchased for!!
Cons: The installation instructions are really difficult to understand, and even momentarily confused my friend, who is actually an electronic engineer
The product does everything it is supposed to do..and more. Once I had figured out the instructions, which were extremely difficult to understand, the actual installation was easy. Unfortunately, as I already have a programmer for my central heating system, I do not use the additional features of this thermostat

Fantastic Product!
Pros: Easily installed , No set up., Price
A great upgrade to our central heating system. The unit was a straight replacement for an old Honeywell mechanical stat. Just a two wire connection using the existing cable and no set up needed for our requirements. The job was done in less than 10 minutes. The house is now kept at a comfortable, even temperature, rather than the highs and lows of the old thermostat.

Very good controller
Pros: Easy fitting - two wires only. Standard wall box or surface fit.
Cons: Fairly loud click each time it switched on or off, and this is quite frequent, even to over-riding the pump over-run timers.
I replaced a standard manual controller with this digital one to improve control of our central heating. Excellent! It was a two wire fit and works really well, holding the rooms at a much more stable temp. than previously. One 'weakness' is the switching noise (clicking) which is much more frequent and quite loud as it hunts about the set temp. more - but this is a small price to pay and if in a hall or outer room would not be a problem at all. The eco feature is brilliant - going out for an hour or two, just touch the eco button and it saves fuel!

Excellent replacement
Purchased this to replace old dial thermostat. This is easy to fit and operate, has a lovely clear display and is much slimmer than the old one we had. Shows current temperature all the time and has eco setting too. Much cheaper at Plumbworld than other suppliers.
