No more skipped heart beats!
Pros: build quality, comfy, easy install, get what you pay for
This was bought because as usual all, cheap toilet seats that come with a new built house, last a couple of years before the build quality takes its toll! We wanted a soft close toilet seat so that when our 4 year old son went to the bathroom himself, or indeed right beside us, we didn't get the fright of our life when he let go the seat and it smashed down. AAAAAHHHH! Can't recommend this product enough, it really is that good. Yes, its just a toilet seat, but its a bloody good toilet seat. You wouldn't wear cheap knickers on a first date would you?

Soft Close seat
Pros: The original seat was fitted by the suppliers of our Bathroom and on-suite. I stayed with this make to keep both rooms uniform. , The seat is very easy to fit and can be removed for easy cleaning. The chrome fitting makes the seat look stylish and well designed., This seat was purchased to replace one that had broken (seat broke in two.)
Cons: When closed the toilet seat has 4 rest points. The back ones unfortunately do not sit on the toilet pan. Also the seat lifts away from the pan if you lean to one side, I can only believe this is the reason the original seat broke in two.
This seat was purchased to replace one that had broken

At last
at last - a well-made loo seat that can be fitted securely and sensibly, without a struggle with nasty, cheapo fitments, not cheap, but much, much better than any I have had before. Good video with how to do it, delivered very promptly with Plumbworld's usual efficiency. Well done to everyone.

Great product, Excellent service
Pros: nice design that doesn't trap small willies
Cons: none
The loo seat is exactly as described and was easy to fit, took no more than 5 minutes. The soft-close mechanism is great having 3 small boys learning how to 'stand like a man'- no more nasty trappings! The first loo seat I ordered didn't fit and the customer service received to organise the return was excellent.

great replacement seat
Pros: Fits well and works beautifully
Cons: none apparent so far
I bought this as I was fed up with the heavy clunky and uncomfortable seat in the same ''pear wood'' material as the bathroom fitted units and I am so glad I did. It is excellent quality and a joy to use and was was easy to fit, even for me! Also the fittings allow for various adjustments to be made to ensure a good fit.
These days when most of the items one buys are made in China it was pleasing to note that this was Made in Germany.
Highly recommended.

Quality loo seat with genuinely easy installation
Pros: Build quality , Ease of installation , Soft close works really well - ideal for young kids , Take off hinges is a brilliant idea
Cons: None
I ordered a couple of these after carefully measuring our two different design toilets against the excellent specifications on plumbworld's website. They arrived well packaged in just a couple of days.
I have to say that the installation really is a breeze and both seats were fitted in just a few minutes. The ability to pull the seat off for cleaning is a real benefit.
I have bought so-called universal toilet seats from a DIY store before and they have all had to go back because they didn't actually fit our loos. These are a different level of quality.
