Pros: quality, ease of fitting, clear instructions,Quiet.
Cons: none to mention
I did quite some research on a suitable shower pump to replace my broken original (obsolete pump). The Grundfos pump I chose appears to be very good quality and was so easy to fit - with very good instructions.
It has solved my shower problem and is very quiet - overall Iam extremely satisfied
Pros: Durable, Easy to install, Looks good, Value for money, Well Made
Cons: Anti-vibration feet can easily detach themselves from the pump body during installation, This is annoying, why can't they be lightly glued in place?
I needed to replace my 11 year old Watermill PR50-D pump. This pump was still fully operational with no loss of performance. However it buzzed loudly when it initially kicked in (indicating the bearings were on their way out) and also when running, sounded like a bag of nails.
The replacement Grundfos STR 1.5 C pump was practically identical to the old Watermill PR50-D pump and the installation of the replacement pump took me only 30 minutes including air purging and testing.
The Grundfos STR 1.5 C pump is a top class, high quality product with excellent installation instructions and accessories. The packaging was also superb. Top marks to Grundfos.
Pros: Easy to fit, Very quiet pump
Cons: Didn't have a 22mm to 15mm adapters included
Good advice from customer service and a good product
Pros: Easy to install, no complications.
Cons: Flexible hoses fiddly to install in tight cupboard.
The Grunfos product does exactly as described very satisfied.
Pros: good pressure and flow, well packed on delivery
Cons: Looks a little fragile, noisier than expected but acceptable.
Fitted as cold-water head was only 2m for the shower, set up to supply shower and taps in the bathroom, transforms both. Be aware that this pump requires 22mm cold feeds to both sides so be prepared to be able to access the cold-water tank.
Pros: 'Kicks in' at very low flow rate., Very quiet.
Cons: None noted.
An aging Mira pump was replaced by this Grundfos. Performance of the Grundfos is excellent and it is so, so quiet compared with it's predecessor.
Delivery was prompt. Installation was straightforward and well covered in accompanying instructions.
I really cannot see there being a better pump for the money involved.
Pros: Easy to fit, quiet
Cons: Only comes with 22mm pushfit couplers. Instructions state it is suitable for use on 15mm pipework so adaptors have to be purchased
Easy to fit shower pump, well packaged with good instructions. Quiet and reasonably powerful
Pros: Very quiet. Excellent price
Cons: Maybe slightly less pressure than previous aura 45
Found you online. Excellent price and really quick delivery. Pump much quieter than my previous aura45. Similar performance albeit maybe slightly less pressure from shower - but hardly noticeable. Overall very pleased.
