GROHE StarLight® guarantees a dazzling chrome finish which is in a class of its own. Continuous improvement over the last seven decades has seen our unique plating process refined to produce an immaculate shiny surface that is recognised as one of the best surface finishes in the world. The chrome finish on all GROHE products is only a fraction of microns thick. However what really matters is what’s underneath. At GROHE we plate sub layers of copper and nickel dependent on the surface to ensure that a totally non porous, perfect surface awaits the chrome layer which is around 500 times thinner than a human hair!
Our deep even layered chrome surface creates a luminous and mirror like sheen. GROHE StarLight® surfaces are soil repellent and resist both scratches and tarnishing.
A cut above the rest, in house cartridges are at the heart of GROHE SilkMove® innovation. These cartridges utilise the most advanced ceramic alloy technology coated with a special Teflon lubricant, which guarantee rich smooth handling. This tap met the usual Grohe standards of excellence. My plumber was very pleased when he saw the make, explaining that it was renowned for quality. My only query is to why there is a washer preventing the tap from being moveable.

Lives up to expectations
I purchsed this tap as it met what I was looking for and I liked the quirky design. The quality of the tap is first class and the fitting was straightforward. It has a beutifully smooth action and the flow is a perfectly aerated stream. It is a pleasure to use.

Very slick kitchen tap and very cheap
Pros: fabulous tap to use, looks great
I ordered the Grohe kitchen tap because my 6 month old Bristan kitchen tap from my local plumbers merchant fell to bits. The tap I ordered from you was the cheapest of the range but had the same features and construction as taps you sell which cost twice as much. Installation was a doddle and the tap is reall top quality. It works so much better than the Bristan ever did - it is amazing. I am very happy.

Initial bother plumbing it in due to small diameter euro-style flexi connectors, but once plumbed in very pleased with performance - good flow, very easy to control temperature and flow using smooth action lever, and looks great!! Love the bubbles from the aerator!!! Makes dishwashing a pleasure!! 10 out of 10
