Very Good
Pros: Back-light. standard back plate. multiple time events. separate events for weekday and weekends
Cons: A bit on the large side
Great value. Steps in half degree intervals. back-light comes on when you press any button, so very easy to see in any light

Quality replacement

Used this to replace an unreliable room thermostat and do away with the separate timer on/off switch. So far, very good. Room tempreature is far more stable and automatically changes with no user intervention. No more extremes of temperature, and easily over ridden as required. Hopefully will see a reduction in gas bills (wishful thinking).

Good Solid Item

A well made & simple to use product, nice large clear display that lights up (a big improvement over my previous stat). Just a bit on the large size but not really an issue where it is mounted in my case. Plenty of programme option too. Good price.

Just what we needed!!
I bought this programmable room stat to replace an existing (and elderly!) Honeywell bimetal stat. It arrived very quickly from Plumbworld and was easy to fit without having to redrill any mounting holes. Programming it turned out to be quite simple and it was soon up and running. The RT500 certainly provides much more consistent temperatures than its predecessor and it's far easier to set the temperature accurately. I find the ability to set different temperatures at times throughout the day to be very useful. Hopefully this device will help us to keep our heating bills under control. Well made, well priced and definitely recommended.

Pros: fuel efficiency, good looks
The RT500 was very easy to fit and has improved the system control tremendously. The unit i was sent does not have the orange sticker on it and this has improved the look of the unit a lot.
It's really easy tp program as this can be done before pluggin the device onto the back plate.

Steal at the price
After looking at numerous replacements for my old mercury thermostat I decided on this one. No regrets, super fast delivery, excellent communication and a doddle to fit.

Pros: easy to fit, easy to override, easy to read, easy to update after initial programming, saves money!!!, visually pleasing
Cons: initial programming takes quite some time on a day
This is a wonderful little unit and started saving money on energy from the minute it was fitted. It is very easy to install using the existing wiring from the old thermostat. Highly recommended over the more expensive models. It does more than I expected from a budget unit.

very pleased with this product it was easy to install and
to use. it is not noticieable on the wall. being retired and often in during the day, the differnt time settings have been ideal .
would recommend this product.
