Fernox DS-3 is used for removing limescale from any type of water heater to restore its efficiency. It is safe to use with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper, brass, PVC, ABS rubber polythene and most plastic pipework.

Bolier descale.
Pros: easy to use, works brilliantly
Great Product,
Boiler was making a horrible kettling noise and struggling to heat the house.
I drained the system and added this product using the lowest dosage rate (old boiler). After running the system for 15 mins the noise had vanished.
Flushed the system with clean water and then added an inhibitor. System now works a treat.
Previously I had tried various products which claim to reduce/eliminate boiler noise but which aren't acidic. For my situation these products weren't effective at all.
DS3 works. Just be careful with old Aluminium heat exchangers, use a low dose rate and short system run time.
