The screen is a fundamental part of this shower bath design and has been engineered for a perfect fit.
It features rise and fall hinges to ensure a watertight seal on the bath edge and adjustable wall brackets for perfect fitment against the wall surface.
The screen rotates through 180° and can be folded back 90° to aid cleaning.
Generous showering area
The overall dimensions of the bath have been very carefully considered during the design process.
The showering area, at 900mm wide, has been designed specifically to provide a generous space to shower, yet with dimensions that protrude less into the bathroom area.
The bathing end, at 740mm, is a larger area than other such baths and accommodates the broadest shouldered person, where sometimes this end of a shower bath can be a squeeze.
8 Jet Whirlpool Features:
the 8 jets provide a powerful, invigorating effervescence throughout the bathing water.
In an ordinary bath the still water creates a film around the body that reduces the body temperature.
The movement of a whirlpool disturbs this film allowing the immediate transfer of heat to the body which has a sedative effect on nerve endings, this in turn relaxes the body & reduces any pain and discomfort.
The bath is available in Left and Right hand versions:

Whirlpool baths are not only good fun but also help you relax and feel good. A few simple steps can keep your whirlpool clean and fresh.
Q: Do I need to clean my whirlpool bathtub?
A: Yes. Normal use of a whirlpool bath can cause a build up in the pipes, cleaning once a month with a whirlpool cleaner can keep the system clean and ready for the next time you need it.
Q: What can I do to limit the build up of bath deposits inside the pipework?
A: Avoid using bath additives that are oil based or contain lanolin, these substances can make the inside of the pipes sticky and therefore increase the residue in the pipes. Try showering before using your whirlpool bath to remove makeup, body lotions, sunscreens etc. Avoid shampooing your hair. Make sure you use specialist whirlpool cleaning & sanitising products on a regular basis.
Q: I don't use my whirlpool system very often do I still have to clean it?
A:Yes It is worth keeping up regular cleaning and remember to clean the whirlpool before going on holiday.
Q: Should I be worried about Legionnaires Disease in my Whirlpool bath?
A: Legionnaires' disease is most commonly caused where water is keep at a constant temperature for a long period of time such as in a hot tub. As a whirlpool bath is filled and emptied after every use this prevents the growth of the Legionella bacteria.
Q: I was told I could just circulate dishwasher detergents through my system to eliminate the black flecks. Do these methods work?
A: Detergents designed to clean dishes are not formulated to clean jetted whirlpool bathtubs so use a cleaner specifically designed for cleaning whirlpool baths.
Q. How much water does it take to run a cleaning cycle?
A. Approx 160-180 litres
Q. What are the dimensions of the tap platform?
A. Tap platform is 130mm at its widest point and 115 at its narrowest
Q. What is the depth from the waste overflow to base of the shower area?
A. Approx 340mm

Pros: quality build, tiling upstands eliminate leakage, unbelivable gurantee periods
Suppling and fitting bathrooms is a job, when done well can be very rewarding for the customer and installer. Searching for well built baths is frustrating as there is so much to choose from. Criteria for well built baths is Finish, Strength of build and multiple position of bath taps. In whirlpool baths the most important item is the pump as many pumps do not live up to the specified rating. The Ceramica Whilpool bath surpasses these aspects easily. Bonus features are the tiling upstand rims which eliminate leakage around the perimeter of the bath, an age old problem. Structurally sound with strong legs and ecapsulated base board make for a solid feel when fitted and do not flex as with inferior acrylic baths. Positioning of the taps is usually limited to the front deck but this bath will accept standard taps to the back edge even though the manufacturer does not state this. the fact that there is no pre drilled holes for the bath gives flexability in design. great with wall monted taps for the modern look. The bath panel is solid with no flex as with 80% of panels. The screen compliments the curves of the bath and performs to expectation under power shower conditions. Complete with a towel rail on the screen makes for a superb package. Lastly the whirlpool. "Exstacy" as my customer put it.

Oh What Bliss !
Pros: easy to keep clean, easy to reach controls, friends are family want one, looks so professional, so relaxing, stays looking good, very large - lots of room
Cons: honestly there are no 'cons'
Its just great to look forward to bathtime now, when I know I can step into my own hot tub with whirling, pulsing, gently foaming water, and turn it up or down, and ( before I float off to sleep) turn it off ( for a while anyway )
Its very professional looking and in use its the tops.. I did think it would be an imitation in the fact that it may not be up to good standards, but I would not hesitate to recommend that you get one of these fitted without delay..cool water on hot summer days...lovely warm suds, pulsing away to keep me warm and floaty in the winter..dont fit an ordinary bath..DO choose one of these..you wont be disappointed at all..

An excellent product
Pros: comfortable, excellent thermal retention, good looking, no problems with the jets
Cons: slippery bottom - the bath not me.
The Ceramica 1700mm 8 jet Whirpool Shower Bath was purchased as part of the renovation of a tired, gloomy old bathroom. The bathroom is very small but I wanted a 1700mm model so I could stretch out and enjoy the full benefit of the bath and 8 jet whirlpool. It just fitted and despite the bathroom fitter saying that it wouldn't fit or even go in through the door it did go in through the door with 2cm to spare and fitted exactly as I said it would.
The fitter was impressed by the quality of the product and the build, I recommended the Plumbworld site to him.
All who have seen the renovated bathroom have remarked on the improvement and are impressed by the bath. I certainly enjoy stretching out in it with the whirlpool active and a book in my hand. The bath keeps the heat for a long time, excellent thermal qualities.
I also use it as a shower on a regular basis.
