Good quality, stylish, functional product

I've looked around many well known diy chains for a solid built, functional and attractive shower kit. None came close to providing a product of this build quality. that looks and feels good within a sensible budget. The flexibility of the Z fittings meant I was able to fit it to my existing pipework within a couple of hours and I've only had to make miminal cosmetic repairs to adapt to the extra depth this product needs compared to my old shower. Once fitted it was easy to use and safe for the kids. Can't really ask for more. I paid over 6 times more for my old mixer shower and it only lasted three years before the kids broke it becuase of a design flaw which made the mixer tap prone to snapping. An error of judgement on my part to put cosmetic looks over quality/practicality!

Good Shower! - Look the business
Pros: easy to use, nice looking

A it states on the old advert - "this does what it says on the tin". this this a good solid shower mixer with a quality feel to it - I am not a plumber I just use it ever day! You turn it on set the temperature that you want and bingo jump in.

Over all a good product at a good price.

Not part of the review but PlubWorld also go this to us the next day from ordering - Good service all round.

Astonishing Value Shower.
Pros: excellent build quality overall, no annoying "eco" or "safety" function, simple
Cons: flimsy wall cover plates let it down a bit.

Having bought this shower kit for around £100 I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the build quality was the best I have seen for a long while in any product I have bought. The valve itself is very solid all metal construction; no cheapo plastic injection mouldings here, as I have seen on many much more expensive units. The operation is very smooth and positive and the finish is also excellent, making it look great in the bathroom and a pleasure to use.

The only complaint I have with it is that the wall connection cover/facia plates are made of too thin plate and were bent when I got them out of the box. This was not a problem for me as I used the much better ones supplied with the wall fixing kit available seperately.

The rail and shower head are reasonable too. The rail is solid stainless tube so should last and the mountings are easy to fit.

I like the look of the shower and its simple to use, but it doesn't manage to keep the temp constant.

Great value for money
Pros: great value for money
Cons: not as sleek as the fixed head showers!

If you're looking for a quality shower with thermostatic mixer, then this has to be high on the list.

At a fraction of the cost of the fixed head, recessed showers it is great value - but only if you can resist those ultra sleek looks!
