A brilliant shower!

Pros: Does everything I expect it to

Cons: None

Installed this several years ago into a mains pressure with combi boiler system and its just brilliant! Temperature control is easy and stable, flow rate is fine. Easy to install - all the electrics and plumbing in the loft just above the shower. Not sure who I bought it from though!

Perfect for the requirement

Pros: Easy to fit. Simple to use ie one button on or off.

Cons: None.

This was for a new build which initially had a half tiled bath. We had the tiling completed to the ceiling. Therefore a solution was required which did not damage this. The control unit fitted neatly into the airing cupboard and the shower fitting entering through the ceiling via the loft was the perfect solution. This is a mains pressure system so the shower is powerful.

Aqualisa Solved the problem!

Pros: quick & easy to fit, the easiest way to a shower upgrade!, unobtrusive - looks great

I had a gravity fed shower as installed by the housebuilder - it served the purpose for me but with increasing pressure from my wife and two grown-up daughters I had to do something about increasing the flow rate; they just couldn't get the shampoo out of their hair with out a lot of time and hard work during every shower!
I looked around for the easiest way to solve the problem and it was not easy to find a solution which didn't involve messing-up the existing decor.
However, Aqualisa came up trumps with this shower, which can be installed in a couple of hours (it took me 5hrs but I am not a professional plumber) and hides all the complex parts away from the shower area. It's even supplied with fittings and isolation valves, comes in versions to suit everyone's situation and looks great too.
This was my first Plumbworld purchase; the price is unbeatable and delivery was so fast, I could not fault the overall shopping experience.
Thanks Plumbworld and Aqualisa for solving my problem with the least fuss possible!

Not much good on a combi bolier.

Pros: Looks nice and flash remote control.

Cons: Half the flow rate of a mixer shower. Not fit for purpose with a combi bolier.

I have just had an expensive bathroom refurb and this aqualisa has been fitted replacing my previous Mira 415 mixer shower.

The aqualisa has halved the flow rate from 20 litres a minute to 10 litres a minute (in non eco and combi mode) and I am very disappointed and will replacing it.

I would not recommend this shower for use with a combination boller.
