There are a lot of cases where you want an integrated shower and bath tap. Many units sold have either a minuscule shower head or do not have thermostatic control or both.
The Midas kit has a decent head and is thermostatically controlled.
It is easy peasy to retrofit onto an existing system, and so far looks like it is excellent build quality.
It is not as funky as some units, but it works well.
Also there are useful features, which as an ecomonkey, I rate. The heat control has an over-ride for a really hot shower, but which allows most users to have a decent energy saving shower.
The shower head does not have one of those water saving settings, but there is a setting on the unit instead that restricts the flow.
I went for the more expensive model, but I wonder whether the cheaper one was even better value for money?

Good product
Pros: I did not need any building work and it was fitted in an hour. It is very good value for money and easy to use.
Cons: I wish the hot water temperature good be higher. I like a bath and I find the water needs to be hotter. But it is excellent for a shower.
I chose this because it fitted all my requirements. No building work needed which I would need had I chose the Midas 100 so it was well worth the extra payment. It looks good and the shower is first class.

Midas 200 - An excellent shower
The Midas 200 is an excellent shower. We have mains pressure hot water from an unvented cylinder which powers this shower very well. The result is the best shower we have ever had. We went for the combined bath tap and shower version which enables our bath to double up as a shower. An excellent way of saving space and resources.
Plumbworld delivered the next day and we are very satisfied with our purchase.

Best shower at the price
Excellent style and quality. Love the thermastatic control which can also be used to fill the bath - a real safety feature if you have young children.
