DuraTherm is the new name for Glo-Warm. This item may be supplied with the new DuraTherm logo or the Glo-Warm logo on the packaging.
For use on water heating systems, for example from a loft tank, combi boiler etc.
Suitable for for all household heating systems. The DuraTherm heated towel rails connect to your heating system in the same way as your standard radiators and work in exactly the same way.
Curved Towel Rail
- 1150mm High x 600mm Wide
- Output: 1375 BTUs / 403 watts (∆50°C)
- Adjustable wall brackets
- Distance from wall to the rail is adjustable between 85-115mm (allowance must be made for the thickness of the rail)
- 22mm tubes
- Includes all brackets and fixings
- High quality chrome plated finish
- Valves are required - These are not included
- Designed to be plumbed into your central heating system
- Operating pressure up to 13 bar (Certified by BSRIA)
- Tested to BS EN 442-1 and BS EN 442-2 standards

Have Warm Towels All Year Round……..
Add an optional dual fuel heating element to your towel rail and have warm towels even when your central heating is turned off. A dual fuel towel rail means it is plumbed into your heating system but also has an electric element fitted inside, this means you can use it with your heating system during the Winter, but run it via the electricity during the Summer when your heating is turned off.
To convert this central heating towel rail to a Dual Fuel model you will need the optional 'Dual Fuel Heating Element'.
(N.B. Elements must be installed by a competent installer in-line with the current building regulations)

Cons: fixings
Good looking towel rail with lots of larger spaces for towels to fit in. The only possible drawback I saw with the rail was the fixings which were a little weaker and difficult to fit than a normal radiator. However, this is probably an issue with most towel rails - rather than a problem with this model. I'm happy with the purchase.
